We need as many signatures as possible. Share with all your friends who feel the same way and recognize that Canada has to treat its veterans with understanding. compassion and compensation for their losses, whether health, mind or limb. This begins with immediate legislative amendments to the New Veterans Charter, so that those conditions that benefited veterans and their pensions prior to 2006 are re-instated and that all veterans from 2006 and into the future be treated as one for all and all for one.
Please go to Our Duty to Veterans PETITION and add your signature to all Canadians prepared to support their members of the armed forces, military reservists, RCMP, and emergency personnel who risk their lives on behalf of you every day. ALL our vets deserve to be treated with compassion and state of the art care for anyone coming home after horrific experiences as they work on our behalf where ever and however it happens. Whether you agree or disagree with the reasons they are there, they need our help as a society and a country.
When time in need we are called upon to do a duty that we know we may never return. Yet, we are brushed aside by our own gov’t being forgotten who did and paid the ultimate for keeping the peace and the rights of freedom.
